I’m 48 and in pretty good shape/fit, but just not as ‘able’ as my younger days. My bride of 20 years isn’t slowing down though. I like that the generic comes in smaller doses (25mg pills) b/c a full dose is really where I see side effects headache, indigestion, etc. My best experience has been to take it on as close to an empty stomach as possible, wait awhile before eating much, avoid drinking much and I’ve had great results. If taking with food I find a higher dose needed and then it comes with the typical flushing, side effects etc. Take before eating and the effect is pronounced and better managed. Lower dose and I’m fine. I’d definitely avoid heavy drinking on a full dose as the next day can be tough if you’re prone to hangovers. I am. Don’t learn that lesson the hard way. Extremely cost effective in generic format.
